About the Role
Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Corporate Branding, Event Management students and graduates with related experience. Aside from a keen knowledge and strong interest in our content pillars (cars, yachts, aviation, watches, style, lifestyle, and more), we are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented researchers, quick learners, and go-getters. An interest in photography and videography is a bonus, and tech- savvy candidates are preferred.
During your internship, you will be editing events copy and content, managing image sourcing, update the company’s content and membership databases, assisting with ad-hoc tasks, and more while learning how a high-octane and fast-paced media and events company operates creatively. Excellent English language and communication skills are a must. Please note that candidates who can dedicate a full-time, two-month schedule are preferred. Internship opportunities are available year-round.
About the role
The Marketing Events Intern will be assisting the Robb Report Hong Kong RR1 events team for its upcoming signature events. Responsibilities include:
Organise and support Robb Report Hong Kong online and offline marketing engagement campaigns;
Assist in Robb Report Hong Kong events planning and execution;
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, suppliers, working parties, and management to deliver results
Engage in interpersonal communication with RR1HK members;
Support RR1 event digital operations adaption and implementation;
Responsible for day-to-day operations and provide administrative support to the team;
Perform ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
About the candidate
Student in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Corporate Branding, Event Management, or related discipline;
Strong communication skills;
Attentive to details, highly organised, and proactive;
A listener, problem-solver, and good team player;
Possessing a high level of initiative and sense of responsibility;
Ability to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of professionalism in social etiquette when dealing with an exclusive database of UHNWIs;
Experience in strategic digital and social media communications is an advantage;
Experience in PR, marketing, and events management is an advantage.
Skills
Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese Chinese, as well as spoken Mandarin Chinese
Digitally fluent, social media savvy
Highly organised, detail-oriented, excellent time management
Familiar with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Able to operate simple design software like Canva
Knowledge of Adobe programmes and other multimedia software is an advantage
